Post away from home

Posting away from my own room and posting, instead, at my girlfriend's (Amanda's) kitchen in her parents' house.

I haven't posted on here in a while. I don't want to let this journal fall behind like all others past, so here I am.

She's right next to me reading a book. well, now she's about to pop in a Cesar Millan dvd about leadership tips. so, away I go!

Day 2.

... or, rather, night 2. I'm listening to "I Need More Love" by Robert Randolph and the Family Band. It's such a busy, busy song. I love it. So much funk in one 'family.'

It's about time to eat dinner, but, as per usual, I'm putting off that moment. Idk why I and my brother have this habit. No matter who it is - my mom, dad, or his wife - we always wait at least 5 minutes before moving our bodies toward the table of food. Hm. Oh well. Maybe we always found the food to be hot so we figured out a way to avoid burnt mouths.

p.s. how do you spell the plural form of mouth? it seems wrong

This week is one of the busiest of the year: it's the week of Christmas. I, myself, am a victim of last minute gift purchases, so I will be contributing to the madness that is the holiday season. Idk where or when I'm going, or what I'm buying, but I do know that I will be soon. Very soon. Who knows what I'll find. I think I'll just wing it and buy what I feel for whom I feel when I see it. As I take a sip from my tall glass of milk, I realize that's the best way to do it this year.

Let's see who's lucky this year :D
